About Me

I grew up in a little town, outside of the city of Los Angeles, though it is still in the county. It's basically a rich little bubble that no one within the county of Los Angeles has even heard of. I graduated from small suburb to the small city of Pittsburgh, where I went to Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a BS in business administration. Realizing, I don't fair as well without mostly sunny days and constant 70 degree weather, I moved back to sunny Los Angeles after graduating. I worked a 9 to 5 IT job in a cubicle for 2 years, making rich people richer. I made some money, I traveled here and there, I snowboarded when there was snow, and surfed when there wasn't. I clubbed it up in Hollywood, and spent random weekends running away to Vegas. It was all fun and carefree. But not gonna lie, it wasn't exactly my ideal situation, so I decided I wanted to find my ideal situation. Then came the basic question, but what is my ideal situation?! It came down to getting out there and seeing the world, and everything it has to offer, good and bad, while attempting to do something that will help people who need/WANT help.

Low and behold, a year and a half later after coming to this realization, I have joined Peace Corps, where I will be doing my 27 month service in Botswana as a Community Capacity Builder doing HIV/AIDS Capacity Building. And thus...begins this panda's journey...
